Maggie Glynn announced September 9, 2022 was her last day on air at KXAN Austin as a weekend anchor and reporter.

"Today is officially my last day reporting on-air, bringing my 4-year TV news career to an end," Glynn tweeted. "It’s been such a blessing covering stories across TX, from Amarillo down to the RGV, but most often right here at the Capitol. Exciting things to come - I’ll still be at the Capitol."
Glynn was promoted to weekend morning anchor in January 2022.

With her bio featured on Nextstar Media Group "meet the team" website pages across Texas, Glynn joined KXAN in February 2020 as a Capitol Correspondent for the Nexstar Austin Bureau. In this role, she reported on state stories and the Texas Legislature for more than a dozen Texas television stations.
Previously Glynn was a weekend anchor/reporter for KXAN sister-station Local 4 News KAMR Amarillo.
Raised in the Chicago area, Glynn graduated from Marquette University.
