When asked by a viewer on Facebook if he was gone from FOX 4 DFW, Friday replied, "Yes, I decided to move on to something better. Thank you so much for your support and kindness."
And I have to give retired DFW media reporter Ed "Uncle Barky" Bark the credit on this one since he tweeted the news.
Friday came to Dallas in 2019 from WJTV 12 Jackson, Mississippi where he worked for five years as an anchor/reporter. According to his bio, he worked with other Nexstar Media Group sister stations during this time such as KLFY News 10 Lafayette, LA and WISH Indianapolis, IN.
Before that, Friday worked for WSYM 47 Lansing, Michigan as an anchor.
He got his TV start as a reporter for ABC 6 WABG Greenwood, Mississippi.
