Faith Woodard announced she is leaving CBS4 KGBT Harlingen, Texas (KVEO Nexstar Media Group sister-station).
In August, Woodard announced her next TV anchor job.
Here is a portion of what Woodard posted on Facebook when leaving Texas television news:
"To my CBS4 viewers….Let me start by saying I love and appreciate each and and every one of you. From the comments, to the emails, to the flowers and handwritten notes, to the random encounters in public, thank you for it all! You’ve given me such a good and memorable experience as your trusted news anchor. But like all good things, my time in the valley has come to an end. I’ll be relocating to continue my journey in the news industry!"
Woodard joined CBS4 in July 2022 from WBOC 16 Salisbury, Maryland where she was a weekend anchor/reporter.
