Collin Myers is not only celebrating a new job with the CBS Station innovation lab based out of Dallas, but he is also welcoming a new addition to the family.
Here is what Myers posted on Facebook:
"After exploring many wonderful places in the past several months, from Florida to the Midwest, my wife and I are excited to remain in Texas. And I’m excited to have joined this team back in April!
I’m apart of the CBS & CBS Television stations team as the weeknight Meteorologist on ‘NOW’, a new news program airing in several large cities across the country beginning tonight on independent stations and CW stations. Thrilled to work alongside anchor Tom Hanson and many other wonderful people.
I’m also going to start streaming MORE on Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok for the tropical season, and other weather events!"

As I blogged about back in January 2022, the CBS Station innovation lab is based out of CBS 11 KTVT and independent sister-station KTXA 21 in Dallas - Fort Worth.
Starting July 18, 2022 as NewscastStudio reports, the "NOW" newscasts Myers refers to would include a new 9pm newscast in DFW called "CBS News DFW Now on TXA21."
And in other CBS Television Stations markets, you will see earlier newscasts on the group's non-CBS programming channels like "CBS News New York Now" on WLNY and “CBS News Boston Now” on WSBK.
But that's not the only life-change for Myers. He announced on July 4, 2022 that he and his wife are expecting a baby son right around Christmas time.
Myers recently worked as a fill-in meteorologist on FOX 26 KRIV Houston. Before that he worked at abc13 KTRK Houston from 2017 to 2020.
He got his start in Texas at CBS Austin KEYE where he worked for two years. His start in TV news came from WIBW 13 in Topeka, KS.
The University of Oklahoma grad interned with KOCO 5 Oklahoma City.
