Jarell Baker has been promoted to 25 News KXXV Waco/Temple/Killeen weekend morning anchor.
"I’m here to happily announce I’m being promoted," Baker tweeted. "I accepted a position at 25 News KXXV to become the new Weekend Morning Anchor/Producer! Hard work pays off and you are more than what you think you are! See you bright and early on Good Morning Texas!!"
Baker was hired at KXXV in September 2020 as a multi-media journalist (MMJ).
He previously worked for WJHG 7 Panama City Beach, Florida and WTXL ABC 27 Tallahassee, Florida as an MMJ.
The Florida A&M University grad began his career as a producer for Polk County Government Television.
