Noah Gross is joining the KXAN Austin sports department from KTXS 12 Abilene where he is the weekend sports anchor.
Here is what Gross posted on Twitter.
"Texas forever, man.
Pretty, pretty thrilled to announce I’m joining the sports team at @KXAN_News in Austin.
So excited to get started with this great station in Central Texas and cover some incredible teams.
Today is my last day with KTXS. Obviously so thankful to so many for making the last 2+ years so fun.
Never thought a place I’d never heard of could leave such an impact on me. Very grateful to know what makes the Big Country so special."
Looks like the native Ohioan, who has been with KTXS since January 2020, has settled into the Lone Star State life.
While in school, the University of Maryland grad worked for on-campus publications like The Left Bench TV and Capital News Service.
During his college tenure, Gross had six internships with the likes of FOX Sports, WJLA Washington DC, WRC Washington DC and ESPN.
Speaking of the Abilene TV, I just posted earlier today that Owen Simpson joined the KTXS sports department.
Tried to best sum up what this place means to me on air last night. Will indeed miss the Big Country pic.twitter.com/4zl93lQct9
