Aaron Wright joins KIRO 7 Seattle as evening anchor with Monique Ming Laven from KENS 5 San Antonio where he held the same position.

Aaron believes in the power of community, the responsibility of making sure people’s voices are heard and the importance of earning viewer trust. No doubt he will fit right in with the values and mission of the KIRO 7 newsroom."
Wright was hired by KENS 5 in 2018 to be the noon anchor/PM reporter.
Just a year later, Wright was promoted to the evening newscast anchor role.
