Daniel Marin is joining KXAN Austin from KTSM 9 News El Paso where he has been an evening anchor.

Daniel Marin replaces retiring Robert Hadlock at KXAN Austin
Here is what Marin posted on Facebook:
"I'm excited to announce I have accepted a position with our sister station in Austin, KXAN.
It's an understatement to say that I will miss delivering the news in my hometown, but I'm happy to know that many of the topics I will be covering in Austin will also have direct implications for El Paso.
I want to thank my family, my KTSM family, and my friends for their support over the years. And another big thank you goes to YOU reading this now; thank you for supporting local journalism."
Marin has been with KTSM since 2014.
The El Pasoan is a University of Texas at Austin grad.
