Jessie Watt is married
Marcotte dropped down on one knee on Christmas Eve in a surprise engagement moment for Watt, who was visiting her family in Michigan.
Watt's "Morning Mix” co-host Sarah Pepper scored radio gold in trying to figure out if Watt had a ring on her finger.
Turns out Watt didn't make it easy on Pepper since she would not lift her hand up on the video Zoom call to reveal if a ring was there or not!
Pepper even called Watt's sister, Kelly, for the details. No luck there though.
Marcotte, who is the videographer and producer for Houston Texans where another famous Watt works (at least for now), couldn't escape Pepper's detective work.
The longtime Houston morning radio host even called up Marcotte's boss, Marc Vandermeer, the stadium voice and VP of Broadcasting for the Texans for more information.
Pepper eventually cracked the case.
Watt joined Mix 96.5 in January 2020 from KHMX sister station 99.5 WYCD Detroit's “Chuck, Rachael and Grunwald in the Morning” show.
In July 2020, Watt and co-host Danielle Dubois started the "I’m Sorry for What I Said When I Was Hangry!" podcast and CBS Sports Radio 650 KIKK-AM radio show.
