Sara Donchey might be back home in California anchoring at Los Angeles' KCBS 2 - KCAL 9, but she is still a fan of Houston.
While covering a power outage at LAX, the former KPRC 2 anchor tweeted:
Just talked to a guy stuck at @SouthwestAir Terminal 1 at #LAX for 2 hours. Power is out and he can’t check in for his flight. He’s afraid he will miss his pre-paid 4 day trip to Houston @CBSLA pic.twitter.com/idPdMHyvIO

That caused a follower to ask Donchey, "Why would someone want to go to Houston?"
This is where Donchey's H-Town love shines through all the way from LA:
Oh, I don’t know, maybe because it has an incredible culinary scene, competitive professional sports teams, great live music and really wonderful people??? Just a guess... https://t.co/y5neu1FK9a

Donchey left KPRC in 2018 and joined the CBS LA stations last January.
