A few weeks ago, Telemundo 60 KVDA San Antonio sports anchor Luis Ortiz signed off the TV airwaves of the Alamo City.
"Thank you everyone for a great 2 years here," Ortiz wrote on Instagram. "Met some great people and had a lot of fun covering local sports in the Alamo city. Now on to the next challenge #tvlife."
Now, he is Telemundo Houston KTMD's newest sports anchor along with Ubaldo Martinez.
Prior to San Antonio, Ortiz worked as a bilingual sports reporter and driver for Univision 48 KNVO and Fox 2 KFXV from 2013 to 2016.
The Lone Star EMMY award winner earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Houston.
