Covering Houston TV has become like the The Fast and the Furious. Instead of cars zooming back and forth, replace that with anchors and reporters coming and going.
UPDATE 2021
Stephen Morgan joins FOX Weather
Now I've never actually seen any of the The Fast and the Furious movies, and that's including the original Roger Corman version from 1955.
But the latest franchise is so popular that one of its movie stars is considering a run for president.
Anything is possible these days.
"Make America Tough Again" - President The Rock.
Where was I?
Oh yeah, talking about how fast Houston TV talent arrive and exit these days.
After having to fall on the sword for missing Deneige Broom coming to FOX 26 KRIV, I'm now just hanging out on the FOX owned and operated station's bios page.
And it's already paid off!
Heck, at the time of this posting, new FOX 26 reporter Stephen Morgan has his bio up with no text! It's just his picture.
Let me fill you in on the rest.
Morgan comes to Houston from KRBK 49 Springfield, Missouri where he has been an anchor/reporter since 2013 according to his LinkedIn profile.
He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Meteorology from Saint Louis University.
That's all I got.
McGuff...mic drop.
By the way, for those asking where FOX 26 morning anchor Jose Grinan is, he posted a video saying he's back at work after being gone for two weeks.
Hopefully you saw my update last Friday when I blogged FOX 26 meteorologist Lisa Vaughn announced she is coming back to work.
