KHOU 11 reporter Jacqueline Crea is moving on up to the Mile-High City of Denver. Her next gig is as a reporter/fill-in anchor at KMGH.

"It's tough leaving a place that has become home these past three years and where I have family, but am looking forward to the new opportunities at KMGH in Denver, with my fiancé and our pup," Crea told mikemcguff.com. "KHOU shaped me and challenged me in ways I never could've imagined and will forever be grateful for the experiences and stories I leave with."

Crea joined Houston's channel 11 in 2014. Her previous gig was a Texas one as the weekend anchor at KTSM El Paso. She started her career as a freelance writer for KNSD San Diego.

The Los Angeles native graduated from the University of California in San Diego.

Fiancé Tom Biberacher popped the question to Crea last Thanksgiving in San Diego.

Her last day at KHOU is February 9th. She starts at KMGH March 6th.

Last night I posted that KHOU 11 reporter Drew Karedes is leaving. Earlier this month, long-time channel 11 reporter Rucks Russell also left the TEGNA Houston station.
