94.5 The Buzz KTBZ afternoon jock and program director Don Jantzen has left the station after 10 years. He is tweeting sad notes about being unemployed.

Mike Ward joins the Houston Chronicle
After 25 years with the Austin American-Statesman, Austin-based reporter and blogger Mike Ward moves to the Houston Chronicle. His Twitter bio says he will specialize in the Texas Senate, criminal justice issues and investigations.

Eddie Robinson replaces Rod Rice on 88.7 KUHF
Eddie Robinson replaces Rod Rice on Houston Public Media's 88.7 KUHF. Robinson comes from New York where he was an on-Air News Host/Anchor and Producer for WNYC Radio, co-host of For Your Ears Only (formerly Newsweek On-Air), and contributor for Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen. Robinson has a connection to Houston from the past. According to his old bio, while earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from Prairie View A&M University, he received numerous awards as an on-air talent for NPR-affiliate, KPVU-FM.
