Which Texas city saw the biggest jump in burglaries?

Allstate Insurance says the number of home burglary claims for its Texas customers jumped 9% in 2009. Here is the breakdown.

A survey of Texas police departments by the insurance company found flat screen televisions are typically the number one target in home burglaries, followed by laptops, jewelry and cash.

How does the crime go down? Police told Allstate the suspects have "shopping lists" of items to steal. They back into a victim's driveway and knock on the door. If no one answers, police say the bad guys kick in the door, take items and leave within a few minutes.
