Shelby Rose announced that she no longer works as a reporter for FOX 26 Houston KRIV, after I originally posted asking about her whereabouts (this post has been updated).
Here is what Rose posted:
I think it's time to address something:
I no longer work for FOX 26.
This was not my decision. I didn't do anything wrong, that's just the way the TV business works sometimes. However, I have accepted it as reality and am in the process of moving on. I know a lot of people have been asking, I see your messages.
With that being said, becoming a reporter for FOX 26 was quite literally my dream. Growing up watching the channel and eventually an intern in college, it's all I wanted. Dreams do change, but I couldn't have been more grateful for the opportunity to report alongside some of the best people in the business for the best city in the US.
I'm not going anywhere H-Town, and my story isn't over.

ORIGINAL POST
I am getting viewer questions on the whereabouts of FOX 26 Houston KRIV reporter Shelby Rose.
They tell me she has not been on air lately.
A quick look at her socials shows a lack of posts in more than a month. Same for her story output on the FOX 26 website.
I write this post to say that I have no information at the moment, but I am receiving your questions about her whereabouts.
Stay tuned.
Rose joined FOX 26 in June 2022 from KATV ABC 7 Little Rock, Arkansas.
She previously served as an MMJ for KX News KXMB Bismarck, North Dakota.
The University of Texas at San Antonio grad interned at KRIV.
