Cussing and insults mark TV station group ad campaigns

Just when you thought the anonymous comments on this blog got out of control, wait till you see what Tribune is doing for its television stations. The ad campaigns have cussing and are insulting to its own TV anchors!

Good or bad...talk about out of the box thinking, just like Tribune is promising in the future.

The above print ad for WGN-TV in Chicago starts off saying "Everyone who works here is an idiot."
Finally a TV promotions department gets to write about what they have been talking behind close doors about for years (click the ad to enlarge it so you can read it for yourself).

Next Uncle Barky talks about how KDAF 33 in DFW was found to be running banner ads on its website that read "You won't believe the $#!T we report!" with a photo of its anchor. Yes, what I wrote there is literally what the ad says.

I would like to see viewers write ads like this for TV stations.

For those that don't know, KIAH 39 in Houston is also owned by Tribune.  How will that station top these other two to comply with company standards? Isiah Carey AKA The Insite might argue 39 already has complied with its sexy billboards from last summer.
