In a project with few parallels, Chesapeake Energy Corp. is creating online television-style programming led by Mr. Rowlett, a news anchor at KTVT-TV (Channel 11). Shale.TV is expected to cover issues related to natural gas exploration in the underground field known as the Barnett Shale and eventually expand nationally to other areas with drilling. From WFAA to KTVT to Shale.tv. I doubt anyone saw this coming. Reminds me of an Internet venture that used to be out of Houston.
It was called EnergyNewsLive.com and was operated by William's. Notice I refer to it in the past since it isn't operating anymore.
