Anoushah Rasta joins NBC Bay Area
The more things change, the more they stay the same on the KPRC 2 weekend morning newscasts.
This morning, former weekend morning anchor Sofia Ojeda returned to the anchor desk along side newer addition Jacob Rascon.
And it was a total dance party as you will see from the embedded video below.
Let's see if I can recall all of this.
I posted on October 1, 2017 that Ojeda was leaving the weekend morning show.
That next week newly hired NBC correspondent Jacob Rascon took her place.
A little more than a month later, anchor Anoushah Rasta left channel 2.
From what I understand, that left Rascon to solo-anchor through the holidays.
Well, alone no more, Rascon now has a new co-anchor (for him) with Ojeda (but a return for the audience).
And speaking of Rascon, the Houston Chronicle's Cary Darling interviewed me about his hiring at KPRC in a feature piece on the new Houston anchor.
