Best TV news bloopers 2015!

  1. If this post was titled "Biggest TV News Bloopers" #1 would be the hiring of unqualified Sara Donchey as an anchor in a top 5 media market.

  2. Looking back on the year 2015: KTRK ABC 13 debuted its new set, and donated the old set to the Dr. Kirk Lewis Career & Technical High School... KIAH CW 39 expanded NewsFix to include new 10PM broadcast with the existing 9PM hour... we've seen plenty of talents come and go... and the departure of TXCN after 16 years. On the radio side: Lincoln Financial Media (former Jefferson-Pilot Communications) sold it's radio station portfolio to Entercom Communications. Nationally: Brian Williams embellishment scandal, and Lester Holt taking over NBC Nightly News... Bob Schieffer and Willard Scott retirement from TV news business. 2015 in memoriam: ABC 13 traffic reporter Vikki Taylor, WABC-TV reporter Lisa Colagrossi, CBS/60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon, Monday Night Football commentator Frank Gifford, and WDBJ-TV reporter Alison Parker and photojournalist Adam Ward, among other names in the industry we lost.

We look forward to 2016. We're likely to see the local news set makeover frenzy continue... as well as a few more media M&A's... the spectrum incentive auction... and a few surprises... among other things.
