KTRK 13 morning crew Casey Curry, Tom Koch, Sharron Melton and Don Nelson try to work their turkey calling magic live on air! Curry brought in the calls Friday because she's participating in the TXU Houston media turkey calling contest TODAY:

The media winner will have the opportunity to designate a public place to have a tree planted by TXU Energy and the Texas Trees Foundation.

It's all to help get the word out about the upcoming TXU Energy Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms Senior Services. The race takes place at Dillard’s near the Galleria on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012.
