Lauren Crawford announced she is leaving her traffic anchor and reporter position at CBS News Texas in Dallas-Fort Worth.

"It has been the greatest honor and privilege to work in my hometown market and serve the community that raised me. I’m forever grateful for every opportunity, every early morning, and every person who made this chapter so special.
Thank you to my CBS News Texas colleagues and to everyone who welcomed me into their homes each morning. I’ll carry these memories and friendships with me always. Closing this chapter with a very full heart and so much gratitude… and feeling incredibly excited for what’s next."
Crawford joined the CBS News Texas team in July 2023, returning home to North Texas after working as a morning reporter and anchor at FOX8 WGHP in Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Crawford began her on-air television career at WBTW News13 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, joining the station in June 2019.
A Fort Worth native, sixth-generation Texan and third-generation Texas Christian University graduate, she previously interned at CBS 11 KTVT and NBC 5 KXAS.
