Lauren Crawford is joining CBS News Texas KTVT Dallas-Fort Worth as a morning reporter in July 2023.
"Dallas/Fort Worth, I’m home," Crawford tweeted. "I’m so excited to finally share that I have accepted a position as a morning news reporter at CBS News Texas! I can’t express how thankful I am for the people & opportunities along the way. I’m beyond thrilled for what’s in store."
Crawford heads to North Texas TV from FOX8 WGHP Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem, North Carolina where she was a morning reporter/anchor where she has been since July 2021.
She got her TV news start with WBTW News13 Myrtle Beach, South Carolina starting in June 2019.
The third-generation Texas Christian University grad, a Fort Worth native, even interned with KTVT and NBC 5 KXAS (keep the latter under wraps though for now, no supporting the competition!).
