Jeremiah Stewart is joining KTXS 12 Abilene as the station’s new morning meteorologist in a return to TV news starting Monday, June 15, 2026.
Stewart most recently worked at Fox West Texas KXVA in Abilene, where he joined in June 2025.
While delivering weather coverage in the Big Country, he developed a passion for working directly with students and creating an impact beyond television, which led him to briefly step into education as an assistant PE coach at Purcell Elementary School in Abilene ISD.
Before heading to West-Central Texas, he spent two years starting his TV career at KXVA, TEGNA's sister station 12News KBMT in Beaumont.
A native of Crockett, Texas, Stewart earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas A&M University in May 2023. During his time in college, he gained on-air forecasting experience by delivering weathercasts for 90.9 FM KAMU in College Station and 90.5 KTRL in Stephenville.
