James Eppler just signed a new contract for 2026, making him the longest-tenured anchor in the history of FOX34 KJTV Lubbock.
Joining FOX34 in October 2007, Eppler is the managing editor and anchor of "Good Day Lubbock" on FOX34 weekdays from 7-10 a.m.
A Lubbock native and Texas Tech graduate with a master's degree in communications, his award-winning career in Lubbock has spanned more than 20 years, starting at the Texas Tech newspaper.
