Nicole Osei has joined KERA News 90.1 Dallas-Fort Worth as Morning Edition Host, effective January 2026.
Osei fans have wondered about her whereabouts since leaving the 820 WBAP Morning News DFW (93.3 FM) with Steve Lamb at the end of 2024.
“After serving North Texans as a trusted voice during their daily commutes for the past eight years, I am thrilled to join the KERA team,” said Osei. “I am honored to guide our listeners through the news of the morning as they begin their day.”

Osei will be on-air weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., beginning January 20.
She joins Senior Editor & Morning Newscaster, Sam Baker; Midday Host & Technical Director, Bella Syrus; All Things Considered Host, Justin Martin; and Afternoon Newscaster & Editor, Rebekah Morr.
