Hanna Battah announced she is leaving FOX 4 KDFW Dallas–Fort Worth after almost eight years.
Here is what Battah posted on Instagram:
"After 7.5 years at Fox 4, it’s time for me to sign off.
I’m filled with gratitude for the adventures, stories, and everyone who supported me and tuned in throughout my time at KDFW.
This is the final week you’ll be able to see me on your screens! My last day on the desk is this Thursday."
Battah joined the FOX 4 News team in June 2018 as the weekend morning anchor on Good Day. Just a few months later, she was promoted to the weekday Good Day team.
In 2024, Hanna transitioned to afternoons as co-anchor of FOX 4’s 4 p.m. newscast alongside Heather Hays. She also co-hosts The Ten, the station’s 10 a.m. lifestyle show launched in September 2024 with Steve Noviello, following Good Day.
Before making her mark in Dallas–Fort Worth, Battah worked as an anchor and reporter at KBAK/KBFX, the CBS and FOX affiliates in Bakersfield, California.
The University of Missouri grad earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. While in college, Battah worked as a political reporter for Missouri Digital News, interned at the CBS affiliate WCCO in Minneapolis, and served as a sports reporter for MUTV. She began her TV career at Missouri's KOMU 8 as an anchor.
Battah was married in June 2023.
