Rita Garcia and her husband, attorney Sergio Selvera, are expecting their second child.
"I’m usually the one delivering the news, but today, Jordan, the future big sister, has the honor," the abc13 KTRK morning anchor announced on Facebook. "Exciting times ahead as we get ready to become a family of four!"
Garcia gave birth to Jordan on Saturday, January 21, 2023. See her baby shower photos.
While on maternity leave with Baby Jordan, Garcia appeared on her former station, FOX 11 Los Angeles KTTV "Good Day LA," to wish her co-anchor, Tony McEwing, a happy retirement.
In 2021, Garcia left "Good Day LA," returning to Houston at channel 13.
She was with FOX 11 Los Angeles since 2017.
Before hitting the West Coast, Garcia was a morning anchor at FOX 26 KRIV, joining the station in 2011.
Selvera and Garcia were married in 2021.
