Caroline Fletcher was promoted to the News 12 KXII Sherman evening newscast co-anchor position in August 2024.
Fletcher takes Brenda Teele's spot, who left in July.
“I am honored to accept the evening anchor role,” Fletcher said. “I have fallen in love with Texoma while working in Ardmore. I look forward to growing as a journalist while working alongside the best news team in Texoma. I look forward to serving our viewers in a new way.”
Fletcher, who has been the KXII weekend anchor, will now anchor the 4 p.m. newscast and co-anchor 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. weeknights with Jeff Eliasoph, chief meteorologist Steve LaNore, and sports director David Reed.
She joined Channel 12 in June 2020 as a reporter at the Ardmore Bureau.
The University of North Texas Mayborn School of Journalism grad has been nominated for a Lone Star Emmy and appeared in Netflix's "Tiger King" season 2.
