Luke Jones is making a name for himself as a new reporter for ABC13 KTRK Houston.
The native Houstonian joined the station in January 2024, but his connections to Houston TV are much deeper than that.
I've heard Jones' stepfather is former KHOU 11 reporter Rucks Russell. Russell reported for channel 11 from 2006 to 2017.
Sadly, Russell died in 2021 at the age of 55 after a battle with COVID.
I'm sure Russell would be very proud of what Jones has achieved.
