Nicole Shearin left KCEN 6 News Waco-Temple-Killeen, where she was a sports anchor/reporter in June 2024, to join TEGNA sister station 10TV WBNS Columbus, Ohio.

"Ever since I was a little girl, it has always been a dream of mine to cover big time college football.
I am so excited to share that my next adventure is waiting for me in Buckeye Country. I will be joining the sports team at WBNS @10TV in Columbus starting this July covering THE Ohio State and other pro/local teams in the area."
Shearin joined KCEN in July 2022.
She earned a master’s degree with an emphasis in sports broadcasting from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. While in school, she was the Annenberg Media Sports Director. She also interned with Spectrum News SoCal1.
The Manhattan Beach, California native graduated from the University of Georgia.
