Idolina Peralez has left CW39 Houston KIAH, where she has been a morning meteorologist, anchor, and host since August 2022.

From what I understand, she will be leaving to spend more time with her twins and husband.
Peralez, who was raised in the Rio Grande Valley, might be a familiar face for longtime Houston television watchers. She was formerly a KPRC 2 weekend morning meteorologist starting in 2013.
A Brigham Young University-Idaho grad who also completed meteorology courses at Mississippi State University, Peralez got her TV start with KIFI Local News 8/KIDK Idaho Falls, Idaho, as Idolina Walker.
At KIFI, she worked her way up to studio camera, graphics, editor, 5pm producer, assignment editor, digital content director, and eventually, the weather department.
