Leslie DelasBour is joining FOX 26 KRIV Houston as a reporter, mikemcguff.com has learned.
In my last post about Britt Moreno leaving KXAN, I said how I was leaving San Marcos after screening my documentary "Runaway Radio" last night (available on streaming and DVD) and how I wasn't going to post anything about Houston since the city is largely without power and has limited connectivity.
You know me, I couldn't leave you before I head pack home with no electricity to blog (or do much else but sweat). Even a hurricane won't totally stop me from breaking Houston media news for you!
And by the way, I am considering writing something about the new reality of the TV news industry's ability to cover hurricanes after what happened this time. We'll have to see if I still have the drive when power comes back.
DelasBour returns to her hometown of Houston after reporting for KSHB 41 Kansas City, Missouri since June 2021.
On a side note, I visited Kansas City for the first time this summer and had a great time. They have some great museums. And we got to try the famous Arthur Bryant's Barbeque. My advice, make sure to get there early before the food is sold-out for the day.
DelasBour previously reported for FOX 4 WFTX Fort Myers, Florida.
The Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University grad interned for KHOU 11 Houston and worked for the school's 88.1 WHOV.
