"The list of reasons for why I’ve chosen to leave the industry is long, but I wouldn’t go back & change anything," Lehmkuhl posted on X. "From morning show antics to covering tragedy - it’s been a sweet & sobering ride. Forever grateful."
Lehmkuhl joined FOX 7 Austin in January 2021 as a reporter from KAPP-KVEW Yakima, Washington where she was an anchor/reporter. Notice that is "KVEW" and not Austin competitor "KVUE."
She started her TV career as a producer/writer for FOX 5 KSWB and KUSI Good Morning San Diego.
The Biola University grad interned with KTLA Los Angeles and WCAX 3 Burlington, Vermont. She also worked for the school's Eagle Vision News as an anchor/executive producer.
Today is my last day at @fox7austin & in local news. The list of reasons for why I’ve chosen to leave the industry is long, but I wouldn’t go back & change anything. From morning show antics to covering tragedy - it’s been a sweet & sobering ride. Forever grateful. pic.twitter.com/lqWlabIFt4
