Adam Winkler joins Winkler Public Relations

Adam Winkler's next job after ABC13 KTRK Houston is a family affair. He will join Winkler Public Relations as its Director of Media Strategy and Storytelling.

"This is a 'WIN' for Winkler Public Relations as we utilize Adam's award-winning media and storytelling talents to expand our scope of public relations, media and government affairs services to customers," said Kathy Winkler, Owner/CEO Winkler Public Relations. "Adding powerful video content and written storytelling to our capabilities helps us tell impactful and 'feel-good' stories of petrochemical and construction, economic development and small business in the greater Houston region."

“For more than 20 years, I’ve witnessed Winkler Public Relations build trust and establish dialogue with leaders in the greater Houston area while also helping companies excel through community outreach,” Adam Winkler added.  "My decades working in local news taught me that few things are capable of impacting a community like a powerful story. I’m thrilled Winkler Public Relations will give me the opportunity and outlet to continue to produce and deliver inspiring stories in and around my hometown."

Adam brings 20 years of experience in local television news. Twice awarded a Lone Star Emmy as a Sports Anchor (2023, 2015), Adam was recently named the Best Sports Reporter in Texas - Large Market TV at the 2024 Texas Broadcast News Awards. In all, Winkler has received 21 Associated Press/Broadcasters association awards in Virginia, Texas and Louisiana in addition to his 12 career Emmy nominations.

Winkler Public Relations, founded in the Fall of 2003, is a woman-owned business helping companies establish and protect a positive brand, image and presence with diverse communities.
