Jiovanni Lieggi has left ABC13 KTRK Houston, where he was a reporter, after less than a year, as his bio has been removed from the Disney Entertainment Television station's website.

A few months ago, a concerned Channel 13 viewer reached out, questioning Lieggi's whereabouts as they noticed his absence from the newscasts for about a month. He then returned to the newscasts with no mention on social media.
Lieggi arrived at abc13 in July 2023 from Sacramento, California where he worked as a FOX News multi-media journalist (MMJ).
Before that, he worked as an MMJ for KLFY NEWS 10 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
He began his professional TV news career with WKBN 27 First News in Youngstown, Ohio, also as an MMJ.
A Kent State University graduate, he earned his master's degree in forensic psychology from Arizona State University.
During his undergraduate studies, Lieggi interned with WKBN and 21 WFMJ, both located in Youngstown.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Lieggi is set to complete his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2024.
