Zaria Oates joined KSAT 12 San Antonio as a reporter in June of 2024 from ABC24 WATN Memphis, Tennessee, where she was a Multi-Skilled Journalist.
"San Antonio is far from new for me," Oates posted on Facebook. "I graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz."
Oates will report for the late Nightbeat newscasts Wednesday through Sunday nights the station posted on its website.
The University of Oklahoma grad worked for Gaylord News part-time while attending school.
