David Sears has been with KSAT 12 San Antonio for over 40 years and is one of the six on-air talents leaving the station this week.
Sears said on air that KSAT management wouldn't let him fly the station helicopter, but he also always wanted to try delivering the weather segment, and he got his chance on GMSA@9 before he retired.
