The Ben and Skin Show returned to 97.1 The Eagle KEGL Dallas - Fort Worth on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 3pm to 6pm.
The long-time Metroplex radio duo returned after The Eagle was resurrected on 97.1 after The Freak went off the air. Their show aired from 10am to 2pm on The Freak.
Ben Rogers and Jeff "Skin" Wade, who previously worked at The Eagle and The Freak, returned at a live remote broadcast from Reunion Tower's GeO-Deck.
According to their Apple Podcast bio, Ben and Skin have been friends since age 12 and have worked together on DFW radio since 2001.
"We’ve been at Live 105.3, The Fan, 103.3 ESPN, back at The Fan, The Eagle, and now 97.1 The Freak," Rogers told D magazine when The Freak was announced in 2022. "But we’ve never been fired; we’ve just stayed steady hustlin’. Always thinking ahead. Always networking. Always plotting our course."
Based on the duo's return, that quote was very prescient.
