Ashley Paredez returns to Texas television as the new FOX News at Nine co-anchor with Ryan Wolf at KABB San Antonio.
The San Antonio native will fill the anchor spot left open by Camilla Rambaldi, who anchored her final newscast at FOXSA 29 Puro San Antonio in January 2024.
Paredez has been a nightside news reporter with ABC 15 KNXV Phoenix since December 2020.
She will be familiar to Dallas-Fort Worth TV viewers from her time as a FOX 4 KDFW "Good Day" morning reporter from 2018 to 2020.
Before covering the Metroplex, Paredez worked for FOX 7 KTBC Austin, where she was the weekend evening anchor.
Before Austin, Paredez was a morning anchor, reporter and executive producer for KFDA NewsChannel 10 Amarillo.
The University of Texas at Austin grad also attended UTSA and Our Lady of the Lake University.
According to FOXSA 29, Paredez interned with the station in high school. From my blog post, in 2014 Paredez said she also interned at KTBC in 2008.
