Simoné Simpson is joining KENS 5 San Antonio as a multi-skilled journalist from TEGNA sister station KIII 3News Corpus Christi where she was an MSJ/fill-in anchor since January 2022.
"After two years at KIII 3NEWS, my journalism journey will continue at our sister station in San Antonio," Simpson posted on Instagram. "Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to tell their stories. I start early January [2024]."
If Simpson is moving from one Texas TEGNA station to another on-air, will we ever see her back at her old station of KHOU 11 Houston where she started as a production intern and was later hired as associate producer and audience coordinator for "Great Day Houston?" Stay tuned.
The University of Houston Magna Cum Laude grad also interned with Houston Public Media.
