Quita Culpepper is celebrating 25 years with KVUE Austin.
"This week is my KVUE-versary! 25 years of community issues, breaking news, Does It Work...growing up and watching #ATX and Central Texas grow and change as well," Culpepper tweeted. "Thanks for sticking with me y’all Cheers to the future and whatever it may hold!"
The Texas State University grad joined her hometown station of KVUE in November 1998 after working in radio.
Austin television viewers have watched Culpepper move from reporter, weekend anchor, consumer reporter for "Does it Work Wednesday," 5pm anchor all the way to evening anchor.
She has graced the pages of the Austin Chronicle's "Best of" section many times as one of the city's favorite journalists.
