Everyone in North Texas knows that Pete Delkus is a big deal, and now the WFAA 8 Dallas Chief Meteorologist is being honored as the top meteorologist in the ‘B+C‘ 2023 Station Awards.
"It's flattering," Delkus said on the station's newscast. "It really is. I'm very honored."
Funny thing is, Delkus thought when he was called into the boss's office about the award...he was in trouble!
Delkus is not the only Texas winner. Also being honored by the trade magazine is KRIS Corpus Christi director of engineering Phil Brooks.
