Kim Castro is moving to weekdays from her KHOU 11 weekend morning meteorologist schedule.
Castro will be on the air Monday through Friday at noon with anchor Shern-Min Chow and on the 4pm news Thursday and Friday.
Looks like recent hire Chris Ramirez will take Castro's previous spot on weekend mornings.
In other news, Castro recently earned her National Weather Association Seal:
"We did it!!! After 7 years as a meteorologist, I’m now an NWA Seal holder too! It’s an honor to be your meteorologist and this makes the honor that much sweeter. Thank you all!!"
Castro joined KHOU in October 2021.
