Dominique Newland has left her KVUE Austin weekend morning anchor/reporter role and is heading to FOX 10 KSAZ Phoenix.

"Bittersweet news to share, this is my last full week at KVUE!
I’m so grateful to the Central Texas community for welcoming me with open arms the last 2 years.
I’ll keep it short (ish) for now.. but boy, where has the time gone!? I came to Austin knowing very few people and experiencing Texas for the first time.
I’m now leaving a cowboy boot wearin, BBQ lovin’, “y’all” sayin’ girl surrounded by friends and wonderful viewers who’ve turned into family.
Please join me with a box of tissues for my last show reporting on Daybreak tomorrow & anchoring Weekend Daybreak Saturday and Sunday.

Newland joined KVUE in November 2021.
She arrived in Austin from KYMA 11 - 13 Yuma, Arizona where she had worked since June 2019.
The Indiana University Bloomington grad interned with the CBS The Late Late Show, WISH 8 and WTHR 13 Indianapolis.
