Arielle Schafer has joined CBS 42 WIAT Birmingham, Alabama as a sports reporter from KAMC / KLBK Lubbock.
Schafer joined the Lubbock stations in August 202 as a weekend sports reporter/anchor. By December 2021, she was promoted to sports director.
She previously worked as a freelance sideline reporter for ESPN+ and part-time weekend sports anchor/reporter for WVUA 23 Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Not only does the University of Alabama grad cover sports, but in college, she was a Division I Athlete competing on the Women’s Rowing Team. While in school, Schafer worked as a student reporter for the SEC Network.
