Jesse Schroeder left his 6pm and 10pm anchor role with KTRE 9 News East Texas in July 2023 to teach communications at his alma mater of Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
He joined the Gray Television stations of KTRE and KLTV in May of 2021.
As I blogged in 2021, this was a return to TV for Schroeder who had been teaching in Denison ISD.
Before teaching, Schroeder was morning anchor/EP at News 12 KXII Sherman/Denison from 2014 to 2018.
He also was also a 10pm producer/reporter KSWO 7 Lawton, Oklahoma.
His first TV gig was at KWTV News 9 Oklahoma City.
