Rangel heads to Austin from from KXII 12 Sherman where she was hired as a reporter in June 2021.
The Southern Methodist University grad, who is from the Metroplex, interned with KERA. As a student, Rangel won several awards for her work with SMU-TV's The Daily Update.
Before transferring to SMU, Rangel attended Stephen F. Austin State University and worked for the local ESPN radio station.
