Paige Ellenberger announced she's leaving 15ABC KRHD Bryan-College Station and 25 News KXXV Waco/Temple/Killeen, in early June 2023, and a few weeks later we learned she is headed to FOX 4 KDFW Dallas - Fort Worth as a "Good Day" morning reporter starting June 19.
"I'm a Western Pennsylvania implant," Ellenberger said on the FOX 4 website. "Moving to the Lone Star State nearly three years ago was a dream I never even realized I had. But now that I'm here, there's no place I'd rather be. I'm more than thrilled to join the Good Day team and am so blessed that everyone at FOX 4 trusts and believes in me to work alongside such talented journalists. I can't wait to start this journey with you all."
Here is a portion of what Ellenberger posted on social when she was leaving Central Texas:
"From the very first picture taken in Waco, to the very last in Bryan: I’ve been so blessed over the past few years to have had the opportunities I’ve had.
Whether you’ve shared your story with me, or found joy in following the stories told.. man I am so grateful for all of you.
You’ve all turned this North Eastern girl into a Texas one and luckily, my next journey will keep me in the state."
Ellenberger joined KXXV in August 2020 as a multimedia journalist.
She eventually moved to the Brazos Valley to anchor mornings for KRHD.
In April 2023, the James Madison University grad announced she was leaving "Good Morning Texas" to report and work on other duties.
