15 ABC will be the new station for KRHD Bryan - College Station. The move from channel 40 to 15 is April 3, 2023 according to this promo.
KRHD used to be on channel 34 back in the day, with news originating out of sister-station KXXV 25 Waco-Temple-Killeen. This started in the late 1990s.

It has grown over the years to now having an anchor/reporting staff in the Brazos Valley.
The current branding is KRHD 25 "Connecting the Brazos Valley."
The FCC shows KRHD-CD (a class A low powered station) is actually on channel 15, but they kept it virtually on channel 40 since that is what it used to be I guess. But then as you see, the branding is KRHD 25 like KXXV. Got it? Let's just say, I see why they are changing the branding to KRHD 15ABC.
